Find the noisy or worn component
Tell us when the noise starts, whether it changes when turning and whether you can feel vibration. We check the relevant wheel-end components rather than choosing a side from a recording alone. A bearing may be noisy without obvious looseness, while wheel play can have other causes. If the wheel feels loose, the noise worsens suddenly or handling changes, stop safely and contact us before driving further.
Bearing or complete hub replacement
Some vehicles use a separate bearing; others use a hub assembly. The registration helps identify the correct arrangement and parts. Brake components, fasteners and any wheel-speed sensor involvement are considered during the repair. Send an MOT failure report if wheel play or a bearing fault was recorded. We repair mechanical failures and advisories; MOT tests and retests take place at a testing station, not at our workshop.
